Welcome Parents and Families

Students playing with blocks

We welcome parents, families, and guardians as partners in their child’s education. Helping children grow and succeed is a team effort, and students do best when families and schools work together.

Research shows that when families are involved in school, students are more successful. Your support makes a real difference in your child’s learning and confidence.

There are many ways to get involved. The district’s Parent Outreach and Engagement Department offers programs and resources to help families support their children academically. More information can be found in the Parent Handbook.

Families and community members are always welcome to participate in school activities. You can help by joining parent groups, volunteering, chaperoning field trips, helping at school events, reading to students, or sharing your career experiences. You can also serve on school committees and advisory groups to help guide school decisions.

Our district is committed to strong partnerships with families and the community. Working together—at school, at home, and in the community—helps every student succeed.
